There's actually a place in Florida that transports you into a beautiful butterfly world - and it is an absolutely magical place to visit.
Located in Coconut Creek Florida, there is literally a world completely dedicated to all things butterfly. Butterfly world is an aviary, museum, and botanical garden where you can learn more about butterflies and get up close with them - all while taking it easy to smell the flowers.
The place is absolutely gorgeous with colorful flowers, exotic plant life, and fluttering butterflies that can swirl all around you, or even stop to take a cute photo with you like in these stunning photos below. Aside from the stunning gardens, you can also visit the museum, sit in a butterfly chair, and even visit with and hold the birds in the aviary. The entire place is absolutely enchanting, and they even want to support thriving ecosystems.
Butterfly World's Bring Back the Butterfly's Campaign was started to encourage people to plant a small garden to keep these beautiful insects flourishing, along with our garden scapes and vital ecosystems. They offer free information about which flowers attract butterflies and grow well in the region here.
To enter Butterfly World, it costs $29.95 for adults and seniors, or $21.95 for children aged 3-11. If you see yourself wanting to escape reality to mingle with the butterflies and nature, they also offer annual adult passes for $60. They're open 9 am-5 pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-5pm Sundays. Admission closes at 4pm daily. The Butterfly Flight area and the Lorikeet Encounter close at 4:30 pm daily.
