Police Are Giving Albertans These Specific Instructions During The Extreme Snow Warning

If the CPS says it, you should listen!

If you haven't had a chance to look outside today, you might not have noticed that the city is blanketed in snow and it won't stop falling anytime soon. According to Environment Canada the winter storm warning covering most of southern Alberta is predicting that Calgary will get another 10 to 15 centimetres of snow today, on top of the 7.2 centimetres that has fallen already yesterday night.

Which is going to mean a total of  25 to 35 centimetres of snow before the worst of the storm leaves the area.

Based on the wet, slippers and downright dangerous conditions out, the local Police suggest staying off roads if possible for as long as the storm warning stays in effect.

The Alberta Government is seconding their suggestion asking everyone to "reconsider travel plans".

So there you have it, permission from both your police and government to stay home and maybe binge one of these netflix movies.  I mean who are we to ignore our leaders' expert advise?
