This idyllic park is so underrated, and is the perfect place to go on a Sunday afternoon walk or bike ride with bae. Plus in the wintertime, it doubles as a skating rink!

Although this is about a 45-minute drive from Calgary, it is a cool day trip to take with friends or family. Did you know that Big Rock Brewery is named after this thing?

If you're the artsy type (heck, even if you're not!), then you definitely need to make your way down to Color Me Mine. Basically, you pick a pottery piece, paint it, they fire it up in the kiln, and you pick it up and take it home! Perfect for a Mother's Day gift!
