It's no secret that as a general rule, Canadians love maple. We put it on our waffles, donuts, candy... The list goes on and on. But how many of us have actually just eaten straight up maple?!
As it turns out, that's the traditional way to do things, and apparently one of the most delicious.
Lucky for you, if you have yet to indulge in this sweet tradition, the Calgary Maple Fest is the perfect spot for you to try it out! Happening on March 3rd and 4th in Heritage Park, the YYC Maple Fest will be filled with all kinds of activities, from drum circles to art exhibitions.
