1. Live out your circus dreams at Rocky Mountain Flying Trapeze

Check out open fly from 1pm - 4pm every Saturday and Sunday. Who hasn't wanted to be part of a circus act?

2. Put on your cowboy boots and head to the Calgary Stampede

Every Albertan needs to check out the stampede at least once. If you haven't yet, why not this year?

3. Hike up to Ha Ling Peak

Alberta is full of beautiful hikes, but this is one we really recommend you check out. It only takes roughly 90 minutes, but the view at the end is incredible.

Even if you're not a huge sports fan, we recommend you do this at least once in your life. Stampeders games are a super fun experience (and an excuse to drink, if you need one).

5. Camp at Dinosaur Provincial Park

Not your average camping experience. Spend your day hunting for dinosaur bones, and your night roasting marshmallows around the fire.

6. Ride the mechanical bull at Knoxvilles Tavern

Whether you're partying in Edmonton or Calgary, you'll probably end up at Knoxvilles, and you can't go to Knoxvilles without riding the bull. Tbh, the bull is probably the only reason some of us would ever set foot in Knox.
