You Can Go Glamping In Alberta's Dinosaur Provincial Park And It Looks Totally Unreal
No sleeping bags here!
Do you love s'mores and the outdoors but also love comfy beds... and not waking up with 40 mosquito bites? This is the perfect campground - or should I say, "glampground" - for you.
Where is this wonderful outdoor oasis you ask? Dinosaur Provincial Park. It's called "Comfort Camping", and it's offered by Alberta Parks. Each "tent" comes complete with a queen sized bed and a futon that sleeps two, electricity, heat, a mini fridge, a kitchen table, and even a private deck with a barbeque and furniture.
Not to mention it is situated in one of the most stunning and unique provincial parks that Alberta has to offer. Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located about two-and-a-half hours drive east of Calgary.
It's the perfect romantic getaway (tip: prime anniversary surprise for bae), family weekend trip, or fun camping trip with the gang (though you'll have to flip a coin for who gets the comfy bed).
Stays are $105-$130 per night, which admittedly way more expensive than just pitching a tent in the woods. But hey, where else are you going to be able to have an experience as glam as this?
