You Can Get Smoking Soft Serve At This New Edmonton Spot

Holy smokes these desserts look unreal!

Edmonton has a pretty strong food game. There are hundreds of Edmonton foodies that show us all of the best spots to grab some good grub. Lately though, YEG has seriously been stepping up its game - particularly in the dessert department. May I introduce Edmonton's latest and greatest addition to the dessert scene that foodies are bound to fall in love with - the smoking soft serve.

Yes, you heard that right. Didn't think ice cream could get any better? Well think again, because it can SMOKE. It looks like a glorious gift given from the gods - especially if you indulge on a super hot day when ice cream acts as basically a life preserver.

In case you were worried, no, your ice cream won't taste like a campfire. The smoke is created using nitrogen smoke which is placed in between the ice cream holder cup and the outer cup, which creates an overall stunning dessert. It allows customers to be totally WOWed visually (and also makes these desserts super Instagrammable).

Oh, and did I mention that the ice cream treats themselves are freaking delicious??? You can choose between The Classic (Graham Crackers, sweetened condensed milk, and a baked butter cookie), Honey 720 (honey drizzle and golden honeycomb), Cloud 9 (almond stick, cotton candy popcorn and fluffy cotton candy), S’mores Please (chocolate corn flakes, dark chocolate drizzle, crunchy almond stick, and toasted marshmallow),  and Milk’ee (crushed walnuts, caramel drizzle, espresso grass jelly and almond cookie).

You can get these heavenly treats at the brand new 720 Sweets, located in the West Edmonton Mall. They're bound to become one of the most popular ice cream spots in town, so get your hands (and cameras) on them while you're ahead of the curve!
