This Canadian Bakery Made A Giant Hogwarts Castle Out Of Gingerbread Houses And It's So Magical
They must love Harry Potter in Edmonton, Alberta.
I fancy myself a huge Harry Potter nerd, which means that whenever I heard about anything Harry Potter themed, I feel the need to share it with anyone and everyone I know. Luckily for you, I've discovered a Canadian bakery that actually made a gigantic Harry Potter themed gingerbread house and it's honestly epic.
The Duchess Bake Shop in Edmonton, Alberta decided that they needed to replicate the iconic Hogwarts Castle from the Harry Potter movies, and it's pretty spot on.
The Duchess Bake Shop is a bakery located in Edmonton. The bakery is known for creating world-class pastries and tons of French-inspired pastries like macarons, croissants and eclairs. Not to mention some Canadian classics like brownies and butter tarts.
But their latest baked good has created quite a stir online due to its epic size and amazing details. Just 7 days ago, the Canadian bakery shared a carousel of photos displaying the amazing gingerbread Hogwarts castle. In the photos, you can see the castle complete with tiny windows, shingle roofs, icing decorations and even some candy buttons.
Not to mention, they created the swampy Great Lake surrounding the school and the infamous wooden bridge leading to Hogsmeade. Oh, and the giant gingerbread castle is entirely edible! If you're not interested in gingerbread though, they have tons of other tasty snacks including their new Salted Caramel Popcorn Cronuts that sound absolutely to-die-for!
