The last few weeks of summer are coming to a close, which means fall is right around the corner. Before the leaves start to change colour and sweater weather comes around, you might as well get one last road trip in.
When you think of resorts, you probably think of tropical white sand beaches and unlimited sangria. Unfortunately, Alberta resorts don't quite match that description, but they're still pretty great. If you're one for mountain views and relaxing in hot tubs, you'll want to start planning a relaxing summer getaway with your bae before it's too late.

This gorgeous, 3-star mountain lodge in the mountains not only comes with an amazing view, but also features amenities such as private balconies, a gym, and two outdoor hot tubs. What could be more romantic than a relaxing dip in the hot tub with a scenic view?
2. Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort // 9616 AB-58, High Level
Not your average Best Western. The restaurant in this place has food to die for, you'll feel like you're eating a gourmet meal. There's also an indoor waterpark, if you're into that kind of thing.
3. Grande Rockies Resort // 901 Mountain Street, Canmore
Literally the perfect mountain getaway. The Grande Rockies Resort is four stars, and has a spa where you can relax and enjoy some therapeutic treatments, and a pool with an indoor waterslide if you're one for relaxing in the water.
4. Solara Resort & Spa // 187 Kananaskis Way, Canmore
A balcony suite with a mountain view? Count us in. Solara is one of Canmore's most beautiful spots. The resort offers luxurious spa services, and suites with fireplaces so you and your boo can get cozy.
5. Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort // 101 Clematis Ave, Waterton
If you wanna feel like you're camping without all the struggles of the outdoors, this is the place for you. The resort features a great, casual Canadian restaurant and an indoor pool.
6. Hidden Ridge Resort // 901 Hidden Ridge Way, Banff
Hidden Ridge is essentially a series of apartments with in-suite kitchens, and hot tubs that over look incredible mountain and valley views. If you don't wanna rent an Airbnb, but still wanna cook your own meals, this is the place for you.
