7 Unbelievable Hidden Gem Restaurants You MUST Try In Vancouver
You're going to want to try these spots.
There are a few things I do very well... eating, drinking, and socializing definitely hover around the top of that list. That being said, I can also be picky about where I like to do said activities.
After a bit of exploration, I have found 7 spots that were worth the game of hide and seek to find and dine at. These are the gems in Vancouver that you may not have been to, and if you have, it's possible you've stumbled upon them by accident.
1. Lolitas South of the Border Cantina // 1326 Davie St, Vancouver
Don’t let the size fool you, this little Mexican spot is a powerhouse for amazing food, equally yummy cocktails, and cute as heck servers and bartenders that will keep you coming back again and again.
2. The Mackenzie Room // 415 Powell St, Vancouver
This rustic-chic restaurant is currently serving up a killer seasonal menu. Mix that in with their sexy cocktails and amazing vibes, and you've got an exceptional night out.
3. Gringo // 27 Blood Alley Square, Vancouver
Whether you’re into crap tequila or ok tequila, Gringo does margaritas right. They have unreal food even though there isn’t really a kitchen (confusing I know) and the guys serving are always adorably sweet.
Side note: the last time I was there, all the servers were in cat themed T-shirts. I’ll just leave you with that visual.
4. Corduroy Pie Co // 758 W 16th Ave, Vancouver
Any pizza place that offers Bourbon and Nutella with their pizza is a place I can get down with.
5. The Acorn // 3995 Main St, Vancouver
It's the type of vegetarian/vegan eatery that gets even the meat-loving Vancouverites raving.
6. Mamie Taylor’s // 251 E Georgia St, Vancouver
Two words; Chicken & Waffles.
