This Vancouver Restaurant Serves A Pineapple Completely Soaked In Rum And It Will Get You Tipsy AF

Your mother always did say to eat your fruit.

There's nothing quite like tropical fruit soaked in alcohol. Actually, there's nothing quite like any fruit soaked in alcohol. It's just a winning combination.

The chefs at Tocador, on Main Street in Vancouver, know the value of getting people talking; and with a dish like their Pastel de piña y Ron, how could people not? The dessert at this Cuban-inspired eatery and cocktail bar is described as "Rum-soaked pineapple, lime cake, [with] torched meringue".

Not only is this dessert inventive, but its presentation is nothing short of Gram-worthy. It's the type of dish that gets the complete strangers at the next table to lean over and ask to taste it.

This vibrant, colorful, and lush restaurant has a cocktail list-do die for, and offer up an assortment of flavourful foods that feel straight out of Cuba. So, if you can't quite handle a pineapple that could very well get you tipsy, there's a strong chance there will be something else for you.
