If your budget allows, British Columbia is home to one of the most breathtaking mountain adventures you can experience in all of Canada.
With the stretch of mountains being declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its diversity of flora and fauna, this stunning mountain peak will not only make you feel on top of the world, you will literally be on top of the world.
Mount Nimbus is located in the Northern Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, and its peak is only accessible by a 2km via ferrata, which is a type of climbing route.
Though Mount Nimbus is known to many, it hasn't attracted a serious following yet - perhaps due to how remote the location is. However it really is a once in a lifetime experience, and you don't even need any mountaineering experience!
The best time to go to Mount Nimbus is during the summertime, especially July and August when snow is less likely to be an obstacle and the views are spectacular.
You will be treated to breathtaking views of the Rockies, and as well as a suspension bridge that is 600 metres above the valley floor - which you may see frequently on many travellers' Instagram pages!
Access to the Mount Nimbus via ferrata is by helicopter flight to the Bobby Burns Summer Lodge, and there are many travel companies that offer organized trips to the location!
