Night Markets // Shipyards Night Market, International Summer Night Market
Admission to both the Shipyards, and the International Summer Night Market is free. The Shipyards is in North Vancouver on Friday nights from 5 to 10 from May 6th to September 30th. It features great food, a beer garden, art, music, entertainment and shopping. The International Summer Night Market is from April 29th to September 11th on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 pm.
Rennie Collection // 51 East Pender Street
Admission to this stunning private art gallery in Gastown is free to the public through booking a guided tour. The next exhibition is from June 18th until October 15th.
Each Vancouver summer brings free outdoor movies. With locations all throughout the lower mainland, you have a wide range of options for where you want to cozy up. For example, Stanley Park by second beach has a new movie every Tuesday night as part of the Evo Summer Cinema Series. Canada Place also hosts free outdoor movies. Admission is free to the park at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park, which is a part of the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. The garden park boasts a lovely pond full of colourful fish, and traditional Chinese architecture, bridges, and pavilions.
