This Is The Most Unique Halloween Party You Can Attend In Vancouver This Year
Don't let your costume go unrecognized.
The Halloween season is finally upon us! You've probably already been to the pumpkin patch and the corn maze, and maybe you've even picked out your costume. But have you decided what to do for Halloween weekend?
Book your Sephora appointments, people, and trick or treat yo'self because the Vancouver TheatreSports™ League has a plan for you: Laugh. Drink. Party. For one night only, the Improv Centre on Granville Island is transforming into a crypt with a full casket of costume clad actors... Enter at your own risk!
Seriously though, this evening is a must, because when the VTSL throw a party, they really go all out. Entry to this year's Halloween Monster Match includes a goblet of "Witches Brew" to kick off the night and get you into the mood, two edgy and hilarious improv shows performed by costumed actors to keep you fully entertained, a DJ'ed dance floor so that you can shake your bones, and much, much more!
Basic witches beware: there will be a costume contest, and with a prize of FREE improv shows for a full year, I suggest you go all out!
The great thing about this evening is that the improv keeps going long after the matches. Have your palms read by Madame Improvo, mingle with the performers who will delight you with their tricks and antics, and visit the Poe Corner, where Edgar Allan Poe will be brought back from the dead to rattle off some improvised POEms to keep the entertainment going all night long.
Last but not least, the VTSL's bar and lounge will be fully stocked with various potions and poisons to keep the party going. Oh, and did I mention there will be pizza by the slice? I told you they know how to throw a party!
