Yes, Puppy Yoga Is A Thing And You Can Do It In Vancouver

We can't think of anything cuter!

Who would have thought yoga and puppies would one day be paired together? Puppy Yoga has created one-hour long classes that combine yoga with puppy therapy sessions.

That’s right, small, cute, puppies roaming around the room whilst you engage in yoga exercises - the added cuteness being a bonus stress reliever for the class. Both beginners and dedicated yoga followers are welcome to join in!

Can’t wait to do this again on Sunday!😍🐶 #puppyyogaottawa #puppyyoga

The organiser of the event works with a different rescue shelter or breeder every three to four weeks, allowing participants to meet and cuddle puppies of all different shapes and sizes. The breeds are always changing and so far, Puppy Yoga has hosted a variety of breeds including Australian Shepherds and Siberian Huskies.

The small canines are extremely friendly, love socializing and cuddling, and are SO CUTE!

After the class, you will have the opportunity to adopt a puppy from their respective rescue shelters. Pre-sale tickets for sessions in May are now available for $30 from Puppy Yoga’s website. Pre-sale ticket holders will be able to view and book their times before the general public once the dates for the classes have been confirmed.

Participants must be over the age of 12, and will be required to bring their own yoga mat and water bottle.
