6 Celebs You Didn't Know Stayed In Multi-Million Dollar Homes In BC

Where the stars stay in NoHo.

We know Vancouver as our beloved hometown. The rest of the world know Vancouver as a cheaper option for filming locations, but also a city of ridiculously high and continuously sky-rocketing housing prices.

Put those together, and you get a bunch of famous celebrities, from actors to musicians who can actually afford places in Vancouver, renting out while on set or purchasing some serious luxury real estate up here.

As you know, it's not that difficult to spot a celebrity in Vancouver. But a little harder to spot, is the multi-million dollar homes and apartments that they stay or have previously stayed in. So here we've put together a little list of some of the most beautiful homes that make us really wish we were celebrities.

1. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum // West Vancouver

During their stay in Vancouver for Jenna's shooting of "Witches of East End", the couple rented out this 7-bedroom, 8 bathroom, 13,000 sq. ft. European style chateau that goes for about $50,000 a month. They even requested that a fence be built and more bushes be planted for higher security of the home.

2. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson // Downtown West End

The Rock rented out this gorgeous 3,000 sq. ft. penthouse suite right at the edge of West End on Beach Avenue. The space includes 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, the entire floor to itself, and panoramic ocean views of the city. It rents for $20,000 per month.

3. Jason Priestley // Ucluelet, Vancouver Island

The Beverley Hills 90210 star part owner of the Terrace Beach Resort on Vancouver Island. The sprawling property hidden within the Island that offers 6 different types of accommodations, from oceanfront cabins to boardwalk suites.

4. Chad Kroeger // Abbotsford

Nickelback's lead singer, Chad Kroeger, is the former owners of this 20,135 sq. ft. mansion, complete with 6 bedroons, 9 bathrooms, recording studio, and backyard grotto. He spent over $1 million on renovations alone and it now goes for approximately $9 million.

5. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes // Downtown West End

Back when Tom Cruise was filming Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Kate and Tom allegedly rented out an entire penthouse floor at the Shangri La in downtown Vancouver. With 15 ft. floor-to-ceiling windows, 4,363 sq. ft., plus another 3,000 sq. ft. of a private rooftop swimming pool, the penthouse was sold back in 2014 at $15 million.

6. John Cussack //Downtown Vancouver

While staying in Vancouver, John Cussack rented this apartment twice on Richards St. in downtown Vancouver, with a 360 degree view, chandeliers decked all throughout, and a 1,600 sq. ft. patio with pool. It rents for about $25,000 a month.
