Over the weekend, Vancouver was host to a seriously huge dog meet-up. According to the Facebook event page, over 800 people and their dogs attended the annual meet-up. Since the event on March 10, the internet has been filled with adorable photos of all the cute puppies that got together for the event. Here is a list of our 15 favourite photos from BC's biggest dog meet-up that you need to check out!
Dog lovers and owners united this past weekend. This insanely cool Vancouver event saw over 800 dogs and dog owners. This fifth annual dog meet-up was massive and the photos are epic. From shaggy doggos to petite and proper pooches, this dog meet-up had it all! By the looks of it, this was one wild, and wet, Sunday afternoon well spent.
One local photographer, in particular, got some seriously amazing shots. By placing a squeaky toy under his camera, Chern Jie was able to capture the pups in all their candid glory. The photos turned out amazing, but not before Jie got covered in mud from the over-enthusiastic dogs. We think it was totally worth it.
From noon until 4 PM, everyone interested in having a dog-on good time congregated together at John Hendry Park. This is where all the cuteness took place and the dog hair flew!
Halfway through the event, there was a group photo taken of all the dogs and their owners. By the looks of it, it was a successful event.
With clear skies and a high of 8°, it’s safe the say everyone had an amazing time. Wth the nice weather, many of the dogs got to swim in the local watering hole. Between the panting dogs and the overjoyed owners, it's tough to say who had a better time!
If you missed it this year, don’t worry. Sit back and enjoy the pictures. There will always be another dog meet-up next year.
