Music lovers rejoice! One of the most talked about singer-songwriters of 2018 has unveiled plans to travel across North America on tour this summer. Seventeen-year-old Billie Eilish, best known for her indy heartfelt music, will visit Canada during her "When We All Fall Asleep" tour. This highly anticipated tour is already selling out stadiums across the world and we are lucky enough to have her coming to a city near us very soon!
Eilish launched her music career in 2016 while living in Los Angeles, California. After the successful release of her first single Ocean Eyes, which has over 194 million streams on Spotify, the world quickly latched onto her quirky voice, intense lyrics, and bad-girl image.
Eilish first revealed her tour with accompanying dates on Twitter. Out of the 43 stops on the tour, Eilish will perform in three Canadian cities. This tour comes just in time for her new album release When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? set to be available to the public March 2019.
Lucky for us Canadians, we will have the opportunity to see Eilish live in Vancouver, Toronto, and Laval. Along with the tour announcement, Eilish revealed that rapper Denzel Curry will be the supporting act for half her shows. According to Global, American singer-songwriter, Finneas O’Connell will accompany her in the other half of the tour.
Don’t worry, you haven’t missed the ticket sale yet! According to her official website, tickets for the remaining shows will go on sale this Friday, so set an alarm! You can also get early access to tickets on Thursday if you sign up to be a Verified Fan. The adorable Eilish also tweeted out a how-to video for fans to easily buy tickets so there is no confusion.
