As winter vacation comes to an end, the mountains, slopes and ski resorts get a little less busy as Canadians usually head back into the office to buckle back down into work mode in the new year. As space frees up at local ski and snowboard resorts, this is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of some cheap deals and ski for way less than the regular price.
A very popular mountain in the Vancouver area is offering women and girls to ski for a fraction of the price in hopes of raising awareness for a worthy cause. Mount Seymour is offering a super cheap "ladies night" every Monday evening from January 21 - March 25, where ladies only pay $15 to ski all evening long!
This deal is amazing considering a pass costs $799 for the season. If you're looking to try skiing for the first time or just to have a fun girl's night out, this is the perfect way to refine your skills on the slopes.
Starting on Monday, January 21, 2019, Mount Seymour is inviting local girls to come ski and snowboard for only $15. The "Shred For The Cause" event supports a local community-based charity called The Bloom Group, which helps provide social services to women and children in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
On Monday nights from 5 PM to 10 PM, you can ski and snowboard by paying $15 cash, with $7.50 going directly to The Bloom Group.
If you're want to shred down the mountain with your male BFF or your boyfriend, men can ski and snowboard from 5 PM to 10 PM for $35. This means that men can also donate to help the cause.
