Riverdale's Spinoff Series "Sabrina" Will Start Filming In Vancouver Next Week
Fingers crossed for a cross over episode!
Just in case you forgot, the dark, creepy version of our favourite 90's show, "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" was greenlit by Netflix just last year. Kiernan Shipka from Mad Men will play Sabrina. The "Riverdale" spin-off series will officially start filming in Vancouver next week! Eeek! We're hoping the two series will cross over very very soon.
From what we know, the new series will be based on the horror comic books "Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina". The new series will surely be filled with creepy storylines and tons of drama. Basically, it will be just like our fav new hit tv show, Riverdale. Sabrina's story will take place in Greendale, which we know won't be too far away from Archie's hometown.
Disney star @RossLynch will be returning to #Vancouver to play Harvey Kinkle in Netflix's #Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot which is scheduled to start filming on March 19th. Ross was in town to film #StatusUpdateMovie in 2016. https://t.co/jYxzRKXw4w— What's Filming (@WhatsFilming) March 14, 2018
According to @WhatsFilming, the brand new series will start filming in Vancouver next week! Not only that, they verified that Disney star, Ross Lynch will be starring in the series as Harvey Kinkle! He has huge shoes to fill, we all loved Nate Richert as the original Harvey in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch".
We can't wait to see this spooky adaptation of the original Sabrina story. If it's anything like Riverdale, it will be a huge success.
