12 Christmasy Things To Do In Vancouver This Weekend To Get Into The Holiday Spirit

The perfect start to the holiday season.

There're only four Fridays left until Christmas! Which means that it's finally time to get excited for the holidays. Don't get swept away by the craziness of Christmas. You need to stop and savour every bit of the holidays before it slips away from you... and that starts with the first weekend of December!

The anticipation is over and Christmas is officially here! Let's be honest, we've been looking forward to the holiday season since we threw out our carved pumpkins and Starbucks released their annual Christmas cups. I'll admit, I've already put up my Christmas tree and decked my house with festive lights. There's no way I was waiting until December 1st to get into the holiday spirit.

In November, we heard about all of the amazing Christmas events and festivities that are coming to our city this winter. I know that I've had trouble waiting for this events to actually begin! But now that it's the last couple days of November, I'm super excited to announce that the Christmas season has officially begun! Canyon Lights opened last week, Vancouver's annual tree lighting ceremony is this Friday and the Robson Square Ice Rink opens for the season this weekend!

We've listed all of your favourite Christmas activities to do this weekend, mixed with some new additions! There are cheap things to do, free things to do and even a few luxurious options if you're feeling boujee.

Let's get started!
