The lush green patio is perfect for brunch in the summer, and the cozy and intimate indoor dining is perfect for a dinner date night in the winter. Why you should go: Live out your Lady and the Tramp spaghetti moment at Cibo Trattoria. This Italian restaurant is serving up delicious Italian dishes with a modern twist, and at night, it even turns into the UVA Wine Bar so won't even have to change locations after your dinner date goes well.

We recommend: Najib's Special Cauliflower and La Feast
Why you should go: Besides having some of the most delicious Lebanese food on the planet, Nuba's Yaletown location is absolutely beautiful. It's a bit different than your typical "dark and romantic" style restaurant, but we can reassure you that if you take your date to Nuba Yaletown, they'll love you forever.
Seasons in the Park
Where: W 33rd Ave // Queen Elizabeth Park
Type: Pacific Northwest Cuisine
We recommend: Prawn Cocktail and Miso Marinated Sablefish
Why you should go: The view at Seasons in the Park is absolutely stunning, but your date is even more stunning, at that's why they deserve to go to a romantic restaurant like this. With a 180 degree window that overlooks the Vancouver city skyline, your date will be falling in love (and not just with the view).

Type: Spanish Tapas / Cocktail Bar
We recommend: Iberco Chorizo de Bellota and Churros
Why you should go: This low-lit Spanish tapas bar is reminiscent of a hot Barcelona night on the town. The ambience is super romantic and intimate, its the perfect place for a dinner date, and the bartenders at España definitely know what they're doing.

Why you should go: Whether you go for dinner or brunch, L'Abattoir will definitely impress your date. Not only is the sexy and sumptuous design of the restaurant absolutely sublime, but so are the elegant dishes and carefully crafted drinks.

We recommend: Bauhaus Tasting Menu
Why you should go: Besides the incredibly classy design of the restaurant, the food is absolutely next-level. Their tasting menu is a 7 to 9-course meal of classic German cuisine with an upscale modern twist, curated by the talented team of chefs at Bauhaus, and the plating makes you feel like you're at a Michelin star restaurant.

Grapes & Soda
Where: 1537 W 6th Ave // South Granville
Type: Organic Wine Bar / Tapas Bar
We recommend: Charcuterie Board and their seasonal cocktails
Why you should go: Not only is Grapes & Soda Vancouver's first organic wine bar, it should be the first on your list of romantic places to take your date. They have a huge cocktail and drinks menu (perfect for anyone who likes to drink) and the ambience is dark and intimate.
Where: 6 Powell St // Gastown
Type: Sushi and Cocktail Bar
We recommend: Canta-Loupe Fiasco and Hotel Havana
Why you should go: This hidden second-level bar is one of Gastown's best-kept "secrets". The cocktails are A1 and the cozy, intimate atmosphere is great for a date. The crowd can get a little bit loud in the evenings, but all the more reasons to sit closer and whisper sweet nothings into each others' ears.
The Distillery Bar
Where: 1131 Mainland St // Yaletown
Type: Italian-American / Bar and Lounge
We recommend: French 75, The Penthouse and Hemingway Daquiri
Why you should go: As soon as you walk into The Distillery Bar, you be welcomed by their comfy sofas, sparkling chandeliers, and blazing fireplace. This intimate, homey atmosphere is perfect for getting cozy with your date.

Type: Pacific Northwest Restaurant and Bar
We recommend: Huli Huli and Blackberry Summer
Why you should go: Juniper is the perfect spot to go if you want the service and ambience of a restaurant, but the drink options of a cocktail bar. Not only do they serve delicious West Coast food, but their cocktails are perfectly made. Treat your date to a Huli Huli and they'll know you're serious.
The Clough Club
Where: 212 Abbott St // Gastown
We recommend: Pineapples and Flamingos
Why you should go: Clough Club is one of my favourite places to go. It's lowkey but also a little fancy, dimly-lit but you'll just be lit. The super intimate atmosphere and small tables are perfect for a couple, and so are their Flamingo bowls...because well, your date is the only person you'd ever wanna share with right?

Adorable Outdoors 🌅
Where: 38 km north of Vancouver on Hwy 99 // Squamish
Why you should go: This beautiful look out at Porteau Cove is incredibly romantic. Especially if you go on a particularly clear evening, you can sometimes even see meteor showers. Time to make a wish with bae and kiss them under the stars.
Where: 7102 Marine Dr // West Vancouver
Why you should go: There's nothing "hotter" than being half naked at a beach and soaking up the sun with bae. And as one of Vancouver's most popular spots for engagement photos, this romantic park will definitely be sending your them some "I wanna get serious" vibes.
Where: On the corner of Athletes Way and Columbia St // Olympic Village
Why you should go: Notoriously known as "Beer Island" this secluded little island in Olympic Village is perfect for an intimate but outdoorsy sesh with your date. Sometimes it can get a little busy though, so if you're looking for a quiet place, Habitat Island can be a hit or miss.
Where: 900 Ferguson Rd // Richmond
Why you should go: If you enjoy long walks on the beach, then this long causeway at Iona Beach is perfect for you. And when you want a little bit of privacy, just slide down the side of the walkway to have your own quiet space to share with your date.
