There is a lot of fun stuff to do in Vancouver, but it can sometimes be a pricey city. Even though that may be true, there are still plenty of amazing things to do that won't put you deep in debt. However, being Vancouverites, we all enjoy having active and exciting outings with friends and loved ones, and that'll usually cost you a pretty penny...
So if you don't have an infinite cash flow, now you'll be able to continue your adventures without worrying about your bank account drying up. Here are some awesome ideas, all under 20 loonies:
1. Ice Skating
You have a couple options here. If you can't wait until winter, head to Britannia Rink or UBC Rink for some drop-in fun. Otherwise wait until the season is right and experience the romance of skating outside at Robson Square Rink.
Price: Under $6
2. Indoor Rock Climbing
There are a few places around, but the Hive bouldering gym is really sick. Just drop-in and do some climbing.
3. Trampoline Park
The Extreme Air Park in Richmond is crazy. Bounce around for 2 hours surrounded by black lights and music.
4. Driving Range
Clear your head at the range by whacking a few balls. Musqueam is a chill place to do just that and their 60 ball deal is great.

5. Kits Swimming Pool
The swimming pool at Kits Beach is by far the best. The view is stunning and the water is salt instead of chlorine.
Grandview Lanes is a pretty awesome bowling venue. They offer glow-in-the-dark as well as normal bowling. The price of a single game is pretty cheap.
Price: Under $6
7. Grouse Grind Skyride
Hike the Grouse Grind for free and then take the scenic tram ride back down to the base. The view really is quite stunning.
8. Museum of Anthropology
Go to UBC campus's MOA and check out the incredible exhibits. There are different rates depending on your status.
Price: under $18
9.The Lookout at Harbour Centre
The Lookout is pretty gorgeous and it is an iconic building in Vancouver worth seeing at least once.
10. Paddle Board Rental
Ecomarine has many locations to rent a paddle board. The hour rate is perfect for someone who just wants to give it a try.
11. Bike Rental
If you live in Vancouver, you probably already have a bike. You could always rent a tandem for an awesome date at Bikes and Blades.
Price: $18 for 5 hours (regular), $16.50 for 1.5 hours (tandem)
12. Roller Blade Rental
Blading looks sweet on the Sea Wall. This would also be a great way to see the city in 2.5 hours.
13. Science World
Science World really makes learning fun. There are some great exhibits here, making it totally worth the price. It's cheaper than the aquarium, just saying.
14. Art Gallery
The Art Gallery always has lovely artwork on display. The building itself is quite impressive. On Tuesdays, you can get in for free (or small donation).
Price: $18 for students ($24 general)
