A Massive Light Festival Is Coming To Vancouver This Weekend And It's Totally Free
You won't want to miss this!
PSA: If you have plans for this weekend, cancel them now. This once-a-year event is something photographers, families, and couples will not want to miss out on!
This Saturday, Queen Elizabeth Park and its beautiful cherry blossoms will be lit up with beautiful projections and light art installations in its Spring Lights Illumination Festival courtesy of the creative team at Hfour Studio and the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival.
Best of all, it's 100% FREE to attend. Spring Lights is a local event celebrating the of a long winter and the arrival of spring in Vancouver. As with previous years, the illumination will be set up for unobstructed views of the luminous cherry blossoms - ideal for photography!
Spring Lights Illumination 2018 will feature light art installations by Hfour, Ari Laser, Tim Rolls, Leo Stefansson, and Samm Z Cooper, dance performances by Heather Laura Gray and her dancers, a musical soundscape by Adham Shaikh, the Tacofino food truck, and more!
The only thing to take note of is that parking will be extremely limited (and it is expected to draw in a large crowd based on previous years), so be sure to either carpool or TravelSmart! Spring Lights Illumination 2018 will begin at dusk on Saturday April 14, and end around 10 PM.
