A Sailor Moon Festival Is Coming To Vancouver This Summer

You can too be a champion of justice!

Calling all Sailor Scouts! This June, a Sailor Moon convention is coming to Vancouver, and it's going to make all your anime dreams come true.

The Sailor Moon Van Expo 2018 will be a massive festival taking place on Usagi's birthday (a.k.a. International Sailor Moon Day), Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 6 PM to 10 PM. All ages are invited.

The event will feature all things Sailor Moon, with a Sailor Moon movie screening, tons of door prizes, raffle draws, various vendors, local artists, an art exhibition, and of course... drinks.

And of course, it's not a Sailor Moon convention if you're not dressed for it. All guests are encouraged to put on their best Sailor suit as there will be a Best Dressed Contest. Even if you don't have a Sailor Moon outfit, not to worry. Simply go with the theme of "magical" for your costume and you'll fit right in.

Not only will you get to live out all your wildest Sailor dreams, you'll also be attending for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the WAVAW Rape Crisis Centre.

The Sailor Moon Expo will take place at the Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown at 1110 Howe Street. Tickets have yet to be released, but stay tuned and check out their Facebook page for more information.
