Canada's largest winter festival is coming to Vancouver and it officially opens for the holiday season tomorrow. This North-Pole themed festival is full of attractions, amusement rides, magical characters and even contains a 200-foot snow tubing park! You're not going to want to miss this.
Aurora Winter Festival is coming to Vancouver for the holiday season starting November 23rd and will run until December 30th. The brand new winter festival marks its first debut ever in the city.
There are several festive attractions to get you into the holiday spirit. There will be a massive waterfront 60-Foot Ferris Wheel that gives you a view of the whole festival and downtown Vancouver.
You can also go tubing in their tube park, which is the first ever of its kind to be opened in downtown Vancouver. The slide will be over 200 feet long and be covered with fake snow. Not to mention, Aurora is offering "free tubing nights" during the month of December.
The festive fun doesn't stop there. You can also go ice skating on their Frozen River, wander through the dazzling Christmas light displays, ride a Christmas themed train and more!
No event is complete without food and at Aurora Winter Festival there will be Food Gardens so you can get your fill of festive foods from 12 food trucks. You can also get some Christmas shopping done at their Main Street Market, where there will be 50 vendors.

You can already buy tickets online to Aurora Winter Festival on their website. General admission to the festival costs $19.99 for adults. Tickets for children and seniors are $14.99. They're also offering Family group prices.
Aurora Winter Festival will be open daily from 4 PM to 10 PM. The festival will be located at Concord Pacific Place in downtown Vancouver.
