Korean food and Mexican food - a seemingly unlikely pair of two very popular foods have joined forces and their flavour game is just too strong. Having recently opened up just this summer right by Stadium Skytrain station, TAqueria KOreano (TAKO) is serving up fusion Mexican-Korean snacks and they are freaking delicious!

On the menu are Korean style tacos, quesadillas, burritos and tacos - in other words, all your favourite Korean foods like spicy bulgogi, BBQ pork belly, kimchi, Korean fried chicken, bundled up into a flavorful package with your favourite Mexican carbs.

And that's not even all of it. They've got massive, meaty poutines swimming in saucey goodness and loaded bibimbaps for the Korean traditionalist.

Please excuse me if I haven't been quite clear enough about how awesome these snacks are. Please allow these pictures to do the talking.

Oh, and did I mention they have a liquor licence? So yes, if you're in the middle of this ridiculous winter Vancouver transit,  you can hop on in between your commute and stop for a beer...or two.
