Gastown just got a little more hip with a new Korean restaurant that shows off a cool and modern look, but with a friendly and familiar taste.
Haru Korean Kitchen opened it's doors just recently towards the end of 2016. It's interior is clean and simple, wooden tables with white seating, and their menu is bursting with homey traditional Korean heat and flavour.
Serving up delicious items like their, jap-chae noodles and spicy tofu soup, stone bowl bi-bim-bap and kimchi fried rice, you can trust that they'll satisfy your Korean food cravings.
Their main dishes are also the perfect lunch set, as it always comes with a healthy serving multi-grain rice and greens. And you absolutely have to try their Crispy and Crunchy Chicken Nuggets drizzled in their house-made Korean chilli sauce. Fire.
Nothing beats a rainy Vancouver day with the perfect bowl of hot sundubu-jjigae in a cozy space.
Okay, so maybe it's not as "hipster" as the Revolver down the street, but it's definitely got the makings of a cool and simple restaurant. Haru Korean Kitchen is located at 324 Cambie St. Open Monday to Saturday 11:30 AM to 9 PM.
