One Of BC's Biggest Food Truck Festivals Is Coming To Vancouver And It's Totally Free

It's a FEASTival of flavour!

Empty your stomachs, open your ears and get ready for an amazing time! In less than three weeks, Richmond will play host to one of British Columbia's largest food and music festivals. The festival celebrates Richmond's cultural diversity and best of all, admission is completely free!

The 2017 Richmond World Festival is returning to British Columbia and it looks to be bigger than ever! The festival takes place at Minoru Park and Richmond Cultural Plaza, and will run on September 1st (4 PM-11 PM) and Septmber 2nd (11 AM-11 PM).

The event looks to be one of (if not) BC's largest food truck festivals with over 50 food trucks with flavours from all over the globe! The foods like tacos, curries, bbq, perogies, and poutine - choosing what to eat will be your hardest decision yet! And that barely even brushes the dessert lineup!

There will also be over 75 different artists over nine stages, including well-known artists: Tokyo Police Club, Dragonette, and famous K-Pop star Verbal Jint. Verbal Jint will be headlining on Friday night while Tokyo Police Club and Dragonette take the stage on Saturday.

As if that wasn't enough the festival will feature a unique, immersive digital carnival, a "wide world of sports" showcase as well as an artisan and farmers market - not to mention a number of other cultural stands and booths.

Last year's festivities attracted over 35,000 people and only looks to expand this year. For more information you can check out their website as well as their facebook page
