The Vancouver Aquarium Is Transforming Into An Enchanted Underwater Christmas Paradise This Winter
A scuba diving Santa Claus?
You've had breakfast with Santa at The Peak of Christmas, you've strolled through Gingerbread Lane and Candy Lane at Van Dusen Gardens, you've even gotten a little too tipsy on glüwhein at the Vancouver Christmas Market (no shame), but have you ever seen an underwater scuba diving Santa Claus or a Christmas tree that's completely powered by electric eels? Didn't think so.
This holiday season, the Vancouver Aquarium is bringing back their underwater Christmas paradise from November 24 to January 7. Not only will the entire aquarium be decked out in Christmas decorations, you'll get to watch "Scuba Claus" swimming with the fishes...
...and see a massive colourful Christmas tree that is completely lit up by the power of electric eels...
...and even watch all your favourite holiday movies like The Polar Express and Rudolph in 4D. And you won't want to miss out on a photo op at their Jelly Snow Globe where thousands of little glowing jellyfish bobble about in the water.
If you're looking for something unique and fun to do this Christmas with your BFFs or your bae, the Vancouver Aquarium is the spot. The Vancouver Aquarium is located at 845 Avison Way inside of Stanley Park. Open daily from 10AM to 5PM.
