If you're already dreaming of the days of Christmas lights and holiday festivities, then you'll be happy to hear that a Christmas staple event has officially returned to Coquitlam, BC. Lights at Lafarge opened for the holiday season on November 24th, 2018.

Lafarge Lake, which is located in Coquitlam, is putting on the biggest, free outdoor light display in Vancouver. You will be able to stroll through a 1.2-kilometer trail of Christmas lights that surround the lake. 

Last year, there was over 100,000 beautiful lights and 10 themed zones that were open from 4:30 PM to 11 PM. Although the full details for this year are yet to be announced, the past years have definitely been impressive.

One of the best parts of this beautiful light display is that it is completely free to enter! So you can save some of that holiday spending on gifts or vacation and still get a magical light experience. 

Lights at Lafarge is located at Lafarge Lake in Town Centre ParkThe annual light display launched on November 24, 2018. Last year, it ran for two months until January and there is no word yet on its end date for this season.
