A Spooky Ghost Train Is Coming To BC Next Month And It Will Give You All Those Halloween Feels
Who's excited for Halloween?
Now that September is here and summer is pretty much over with back to school (sigh), it's time to start thinking about Halloween! There are always several fun spooky holiday festivities for you to celebrate Halloween in the city.
The Stanley Park Ghost Train is a classic Halloween event in Vancouver and it's returning again this year! Just in time for Halloween, the train will run from October 11 to 31.
This year's theme is Jack O' Lantern's journey through the Dark Forest. The Stanley Park Ghost Train takes riders into a mystical spooky tale. The theme changes every year. Previous themes include Alien Invasion and Day of the Dead. The experience is a theatrical performance train ride and you can expect a light and sound show as well as live performances.
Aside from the Ghost Train, there will also be other Halloween and fall-themed activities. There will be a haunted maze, arts and crafts, exhibits by the Stanley Park Ecology Society and even a pumpkin patch.
The Stanley Park Ghost Train is located on Pipeline Road in Stanley Park. There is free parking available on site and if you're car-less, it's accessible by bus. The train runs every day from 5:30 PM, until 9:30 PM on Monday to Thursday and till 10 PM on Friday to Sunday.
You can purchase tickets online in advance and book a time slot for your train ride. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $9 for youth and seniors and $8 for children. For more information about the event or to buy tickets, check out their website.
