British Columbia is riddled with hidden gems and secret forests, and Vancouver Island is no exception.
Tucked away in the depths of the pacific northwest rainforests are the beautiful trails of Cape Scott Provincial Park. All throughout the lush, thick greenery of the park there are labyrinths of wooden boardwalk paths that are reminiscent of your tropical dreams.
Among many hiking options, the Cape Scott Trail is one of the more popular adventures of choice at Cape Scott Provincial Park as it is totally doable for beginners but also loved by seasoned hikers.
The hike is a total of 18km long and takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. The boardwalk path takes you through the gorgeous rainforests and the dazzling secluded beaches of Cape Scott, so you better bring your camera with you because you know the Instas are gonna be fire #laurenbullenstatus.
If you don't have the time or money to fly all the way to Thailand for a week because you're a broke ass student who also works, OR you're just a #exploreBC advocate, you have to make this trail a must-do on your bucket list.
Note: Please make sure that when you adventure out into any space provided by mother nature that you're kind to it and leave no traces of litter. Please don't disrupt the environment and leave it just as beautiful as it was when you first got there.
