It's starting to get gloomy in Vancouver with what feels like 100% rain all the time and grey skies that don't wanna budge. It's officially fall in the city and there's no denying it. But just when you thought all the sun and summertime vibes were gone, a new Yaletown restaurant pops up on your radar.
Located in the sexy and stylish neighbourhood of Yaletown, Fayuca is serving Pacific-Northwest and Mexican fusion cuisine that's bursting with flavour. And how suiting that its location is in Yaletown as the design of this restaurant is definitely bringing some heat.
With a bar that's reminiscent of tropical tiki room, a patio soaked in sunlight, and a dining area filled with lush greenery as well as wood and tile accents, you'll feel like you've been pulled out of Raincouver and transported into the smack dab centre of Me-hi-co.
Ughhhhh, is this not the sexiest restaurant you've seen?!
The vibrant tropical feels don't just stop at the decor, their menu is an exciting curation of flavourful PNW Mexican fusion dishes like their Grilled Cactus and Halloumi Cheese, Braised Beef Cheeks with Butternut Squash Gnocchi, and Salt-Crusted Bone-In Rib Eye, just to name a few.
And you can't miss out on the seafood. I mean, it's Vancouver, we do have some of the best seafood the world has to offer. Fayuca doesn't forget to include some of the West Coast's best - especially in their appy selection.
The best part, their chefs are constantly keeping us on our toes. They only source the freshest products of the season, and adjust their menu accordingly. Don't be surprised if their menu isn't the same as when you first went. All the more reason to keep re-visiting right?
Regardless of the grim weather outside, being at this restaurant will make you feel like it's summer all over again. From the decor that embraces you to the dishes that fill you, Fayuca is bringing a true experience. Fayuca is located at 1009 Hamilton St, open Monday to Friday at 4PM, and Saturday to Sunday at 5PM.
