Vancouver's Biggest Christmas Market Is Back Next Week And We're Excited AF
What even is a "feuerzangenbowle"?
Get ready for mulled wine, spaetzle and basically everything and anything German because the Vancouver Christmas Market is back in business next week! Stroll through the lit up aisles of this extravagant market, exploring all of their unique European goods! The Vancouver Christmas market is always the best part of the holidays in the city.
It's going to be bigger and better than ever. With over 75 vendors, our city's most beloved Christmas festivity will not disappoint. The Christmas market takes inspiration from the Christkindlmarkts that pop up in Germany during the holiday season that features tons of local artisanal drinks, foods and products.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is open daily from 11AM to 9PM from November 22 until December 24. The market will be located at Jack Poole Plaza at 1055 Canada Place. You can't miss their giant lit up sign!
If you've been to Germany during Christmas then you already recognize this holiday drink. If not, I'm here to tell you about it. If you're a mulled wine lover like myself, then you have to try this traditional German drink, feuerzangenbowle.
This magical drink is made with a rum-soaked sugar cone that gets set on fire, seductively melting caramelized sugar into a mug of traditional mulled wine. I would go to the Christmas Market just to order this bad boy.
That's enough from me, go ahead and explore the Christmas Market on your own terms! Enjoy all of the European offerings that the market has to offer!
