Summer is in full swing in Vancouver and one of the beloved events of this season is the free outdoor movies around the city. Watching a movie on the big screen under the stars and beside the water, while chilling on a cozy blanket is definetly a nice way to spend a summer evening without costing you a dime.
You've probably (tbh most definetly) heard of the Stanley Park outdoor movies, but did you know that there are also outdoor movies at another beautiful and central location in downtown Vancouver?
You can watch outdoor movies for free at Canada Place this summer. This outdoor cinema set-up is seriously sweet, providing waterfront and mountain views of the North Shore.
Waterfront Cinema at Canada Place returns to Vancouver every Thursday evening from July 12 to August 23. Movies will start playing at dusk, typically between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m at North Point, Canada Place.
There is a star-studded lineup of blockbusters at Waterfront Cinema this summer. Movies to be screened include hits like Black Panther, The Greatest Showman, Coco, Wonder Woman and more!
If you're attending the outdoor cinema, it'll be most comfortable for you to bring a blanket or lawn chair. If you love to snack on popcorn during movies, this event is perfect for you – beverages and popcorn will be available for you to buy at the cinema. It can get busy, so if you get there early, you'll score a better spot.
