The Most Insane Weekend In Las Vegas For Under $800

Live it up no matter your budget.

Ah, Las Vegas. Considering it's a magical destination where dreams come true and basically anything is possible, it's pretty safe to say that Vegas is on everyone's travel bucket list.

@vegasembedded via

But there seems to be a misconception floating around out there that a trip to this city is expensive, making it a difficult destination to check off your list.

The good news? It's exactly that: a misconception. Just like almost anywhere in the world, how much you spend or save during your trip in Las Vegas is entirely up to you. But unlike a lot of other destinations out there, it's totally possible to indulge in iconic Las Vegas experiences on a smaller budget!

@vegasembedded via

Sure, some things might require some prioritizing on your part. For example, save by checking into a cheaper hotel so you can splurge on a luxury restaurant or vice versa; or, check out the social media pages of the hottest clubs for entrance specials. But no matter what your budget is, Vegas is an amazing experience that absolutely needs to be explored!

Head on out to the desert and check out the breathtaking Seven Magic Mountains public art exhibit

@travel_ivyembedded via

Price: Free.

Why you should go: This glorious art exhibit, situated about a 30-minute drive away from the Strip, is one sure way to blow your mind wide open without blowing your entire budget.

Plus a free, colourful and magical installation in the desert is probably the most peaceful way to start (or end) your adventure in this amazing destination!

Stroll through The Park, a huge immersive entertainment district, and visit the Bliss Dance sculpture

@beelove0715embedded via

Price: Free.

Why you should go: The Park is right near the T-Mobile Arena, so if you've already got plans to watch one of the amazing shows or games taking place there, then you've got to take a stroll through this huge entertainment district first.

Even without factoring in all the yummy restaurants, such as Beerhaus, Bruxie or Sake Rok, The Park is a super fun place to go and explore. The highlight, though, totally has to be the beautiful, larger-than-life Bliss Dance sculpture smack in the centre of the district!

For a slice of iconic history, head on out to Flamingo Las Vegas and check out some cool tropical sights!

@suzaneterrellembedded via

Price: Free to check out.

Why you should go: If you want to feel like you're living in some cool 1960s film, then the Flamingo Las Vegas is the place to be. With Caribbean vibes, fun decor, pools, spas and even a wildlife menagerie... honestly, what's not to love about this super fun spot?

And if you do end up here, don't forget to take a selfie under one of the huge and iconic flamingos. It'll make your Insta feed (and trip!) that much more on point.

Get a little bit of shopping in, and check out one of, Vegas' most unique sights (AKA Downtown Container Park) in the meantime

@goodlucktessembedded via

Price: Free to check out.

Why you should go: Downtown Container Park is a shopping mall made from (wait for it) repurposed shipping containers. Which in and of itself is pretty cool but the real kicker is where the Container Park is situated.

Located right in downtown Las Vegas, the Container Park is smack dab in the centre of all the beautiful, fun and creative art exhibits that fill the area. So pick up a souvenir or two in one of the world's most unique shopping malls and then check out some super creative local art. Sounds awesome? You know it does!

Continue the shopping adventure (and save some money while you're at it!) at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets

@aaclub225embedded via
Price: Up to you!

Why you should go: There is nothing on this Earth more awesome than saving money and that's pretty much a fact. Oh wait, yes there is; saving money while you're in a mindblowingly fun destination.

The Las Vegas Premium outlets, located in the north and south ends of the city, both carry high end brands for super inexpensive prices. Some of the designers include 7 For All Mankind, Canali and Furla. Swing by these one-stop shopping spots and pick up some beautiful items for a whole lot less than you'd pay anywhere else. Oh, the magic of Vegas!

Cool off from the gorgeous sunshine by going for a dip in the simple and beautiful M Resort Pool

@ssemon18embedded via
Price: $10-$20 USD.

Why you should go: Other than being beautiful and fun, Las Vegas also tends to be on the hotter side. Which is awesome - especially considering how freezing cold it can get on our side of the continent - but naturally you might be down to cool off just a little bit.

Thankfully, Las Vegas is full of swimming pools and spots to beat the heat. One of the most fun swimming pools just so happens to be situated in the M Resort! With infinity pools, jacuzzi tubs, cabanas, flat screen TVs (for when you're sunbathing, of course) and a whole lot more, a day spent chilling at the M Resort pool is a day well spent.

And then check out the Bellagio Conservatory, for a free and ever-changing flower show

@divina.wandersembedded via

Price: Free to check out.

Why you should go: If you're in Las Vegas, of course you HAVE to check out the conservatory/botanical garden at the Bellagio

This breathtaking, overwhelmingly gorgeous interior botanical garden is awesome - not just because of its opulence, but also because it's always changing. So what you see on one trip might not be what you see the next! Not only is it an iconic and stunning sight to see, but it also happens to be the best price in the world: 100% free!

Hit up brunch at Lorena Garcia's Chica restaurant at The Venetian for a scrumptious and trendy menu that won't break the bank

@nimasensorembedded via

Price: $20+ USD.

Why you should go: Brunching is a requirement for any trip and of course you just know this fabulous city is going to do brunch up so, so right!

Celebrity chef Lorena Garcia's restaurant, Chica, at The Venetian, just so happens to have a delicious, quality brunch that won't break the bank. A sample of the expert menu? Sweet Corn Pancakes, Pancetta Eggs Benedict and Grilled Peruvian Octopus all for less than $20 each (just like almost everything on the brunch menu)!

Then stop for the awesome cocktails and amazing vibes at Robert Irvine's Public House, located at the Tropicana Las Vegas

@patinakayembedded via
Price: $20+ USD.

Why you should go: What better way to treat yourself after a super fun day spent exploring the sights than with a little trip to Public House, celebrity chef Robert Irvine's bar at the Tropicana Las Vegas?

The cocktails here are basically works of art in liquid form and are relatively inexpensive so enjoying one really good, high quality cocktail won't set you back too much. It's a win-win

Get yourself to the classic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and take as many selfies as you can fit on your phone

@marinakhaliliembedded via

Price: Free to check out.

Why you should go: Honestly, come on, you gotta take a selfie in front of the Las Vegas sign.

Not only will you be taking a photo in front of a legitimate piece of history (this sign has been around since 1959!) and a Las Vegas landmark, but this excursion will set you back a grand total of... $0.

Then cap off an amazing and inexpensive trip by heading to the Skyfall Lounge in Delano Las Vegas for the best views of the entire city

@skyfallloungeembedded via

Price: Free entrance before 10:00 PM. Drinks go for ~$12 USD.

Why you should go: Two words: gorgeous views. If you want to really get an all-encompassing view of beautiful Las Vegas, then look no further than this lounge in the Delano Las Vegas.

Not only does the Skyfall Lounge offer top notch views of the city, but they also have delicious cocktails and some pretty good bottle service deals. So if you feel like unwinding just a little bit, you know where to go!

Honestly, Las Vegas is the ultimate destination. It's got it all: beautiful sights to see, awesome weather, fun things to do, cool spots to explore, fantastic places to eat and a whole lot more!
