Last night around 9:30 PM, an officer was shot and wounded near Onanole, Manitoba. Now, the RCMP has finally taken three suspects into custody, while searching for a fourth suspect.
According to reports, two RCMP officers arrived at a property just outside of the small town of Onanole, which is 260 km northwest of Winnipeg. They arrived around 9:30 PM on Wednesday, August 29th.

Shortly after getting out of their cruiser, they were shot at and a 42-year-old corporal was hit by a bullet. He suffered "serious injuries" from the gunshot wound and had to be airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He is now in stable condition.
This morning, RCMP stated that they have arrested three men in connection to the shooting. They've been taken into custody. One of the suspects was found alone, the other two were found together.
According to RCMP officials, the suspects split up after the incident with some suspects allegedly travelling in a stolen black 2005 GMC Sierra pick up truck with an extended cab. The licence plate number GBX-476. The stolen truck still hasn't been found.
Manitoba RCMP has stated that they're still looking for a fourth suspect. They haven't released any information on who he is, but he is considered to be armed and dangerous. They are asking anyone that sees the truck to call police immediately.
Also, sources told CTV Winnipeg that three suspects tried to break into their home, so police are asking residents to lock their doors and windows considering the last suspect is still at large.
As of Thursday, August 30th at 4:10 PM, the fourth suspect has been detained and taken into custody.
