Noble // 1563 Barrington Street, Halifax
Beneath the unassuming Middle Spoon Desserterie on Barrington street lies Noble, Halifax’s hidden speak easy cocktail bar and lounge. Lot Six // 1685 Argyle Street, Halifax
Upon entering Lot Six, breeze past the seating section at the front of the restaurant and head to the giant glass atrium in the back of the building. There you’ll find one of the most unique spaces in Halifax to enjoy gourmet cocktails and delicious sea food. The atrium used to be used to host weekly salsa competitions, and now acts as an extremely impressive spot to take your next date.
Blomidon Inn // 195 Main Street, Wolfville
Rufus Burgess purchased the lot on which Blomidon Inn now stands in April of 1881 for $1400. He was a wealthy merchant, and built the beautiful property that now stands as a popular Bed and Breakfast in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Inn’s Victorian Garden was fully restored in 1995, and now acts as a beautiful place to walk after grabbing dinner and drinks!
Alteregos // 2193 Gottingen Street, Halifax
By day Alteregos is a cozy, north end coffee shop, where visitors can enjoy homemade pastries, craft beers and cappuccinos. On the second floor there’s a hostel where travelers can crash for the night. And once a month Alteregos clears all the tables and brings in some of the best hip hop DJ’s in Halifax for an epic north end dance party!
