This Lazy River In Nova Scotia Is The Ultimate Summer Hangout Spot

Sit back, relax and float away

If you're looking for the perfect way to relax this summer while trying to stay cool, it could be difficult trying to find the best place to go. Without the craziness of screaming children and paying unbelievable amounts just to get into a water park, spending your time on the Gaspereau River in the Annapolis Valley is a wicked place to spend a summer's afternoon.

At the beginning of the river route, you can rent an inner tube from King of The River tubing for only $5. There is also the option of bringing your own form of floating if you want to save some money! So bust out your donut floaty or your giant flamingo for your day of relaxation.

Your relaxing adventure down the river takes roughly 25 minutes and is the perfect way to cool down this summer. At the end of the river, you can also jump from the bridge and go swimming at the dam. While you're floating away down the river, you can enjoy the nature surrounding you and the occasional cow sighting!

Although there are no specific hours to go tubing, you can check when the river is up on the Facebook page here!
