Environment Canada issued a winter storm warning for Nova Scotia, and forecast hazardous winter conditions overnight and through into the morning. Between 20 and 40cm of heavy snow mixed with ice pellets is expected to fall overnight, and Halifax will experience strong north-easterly winds gusting between 80 and 100km/h.
Transportation delays within the HRM are to be expected, as the bus schedule will likely be inhibited by the weather tomorrow. Get your storm chips and beer tonight, because stores will be closed tomorrow, and you’ll want to hibernate at home tomorrow with some Netflix and snacks!
