As we wind down this Friday afternoon in anticipation of the long weekend ahead, all of Canada is abuzz with Thanksgiving cheer.  Everyone is making potluck plans and picking up beer in bulk (most craft beer stores will remain open all weekend, don't worry).

Monday, October 10th is a national holiday, so almost every business in town will be shut.  But if you’re like me and just realized that it takes an entire DAY (?!?) to cook a turkey, you’re going to need a backup plan to feed your hungry friends.

We did some research and found all the spots in Halifax that will be open on Monday for your food, shopping, transportation and partying needs. Pro tip - parking enforcement officers have Monday off, so all parking in the city will be free!
