7 Amazing Ski Resorts Near Halifax You Need To Visit This Winter

Any day now the thermometer is going to hit zero and Atlantic Canada is going to get covered in snow – we can’t wait!  Skiiers and snowboarders who are itching to get out on the slopes should look into picking up their ski tickets now, as many hills are offering huge early bird deals on their full season passes.

We put together a list of awesome hills all throughout Atlantic Canada that you have to hit this ski season.  Some are less than two hours from Halifax, while others are all the way in Newfoundland, but all seven are definitely worth the road trip.

1. Wentworth // Truro, NS

Only an hour and a half from Halifax, Wentworth offers some of the best downhill skiing in Nova Scotia, with accessible night skiing and cross country skiing trails available during ski season.  Take some lessons at their snow school, or their intricate trail system if you’re already a pro!

2. Martock // Windsor, NS
