Cabot Shores Treetop Village

Near Boularderie Island in Cape Breton you’ll find a series of unique Geodesic Domes elevated on wooden platforms amongst the trees of an apple orchard.  Rent the Luna Dome, Apple Dome or the Eagle Dome, and enjoy an overnight summer glamping adventure complete with solar lighting, kayaks, canoes, and a nearby private beach.

Forested Dome

The perfect spot for a romantic weekend getaway, this two-person dome located along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and the night sky from its four skylight windows.  A hammock and nearby fire pit make this glamping pod a super comfortable escape from city life!

Cozy Yurts

Also located on Cape Breton Island, rent out one of these traditional Mongolian yurts, with incredible views of the nearby lake which is visited frequently by moose, eagles and other local critters.  Choose from four yurts, equipped with electricity, skylights, beds and a stove for cooking in some cases.

Spherical Treehouses

Parks Canada introduced these unique forest pods as a pilot project during the summer of 2016 to some super positive reviews.  Campers are suspended in luxurious, fully equipped cocoon tents six meters off the ground, hanging amongst the trees and listening to waves crash at nearby Ingonish Beach.

Ridgeback Lodge

For a luxurious summer camping experience, rent out the Dream Dome or the Stargazer Dome near the Ridgeback Lodge in Kingston, New Brunswick.  Open year round, these domes are a truly luxurious way to camp, both equipped with wood ovens, memory foam mattresses, indoor plumbing and private hot tub access.

Goutte d’O

These unique water droplet tents located in Fundy National Park have a sofa bed on the main level and a hammock suspended on the upper portion.  Eventually the idea is that the tents will be supported by stilts, standing amongst the trees of the park, but for now they are built on wooden platforms that make for a beautiful deck.

P.E.I.

Treetop Haven

This recently constructed glamping project on P.E.I. features a series of Tree Pods that visitors can rent out for parties of 2 to 6 people.  All the pods have double beds and hot tub access, while some of them are even open year-round.  Two of the pods are available to rent right now, while the others will be available by next week, so call to make your reservations ASAP!
