Ottawa is a beautiful city. From the rooftop views of the city to colourful walls, the so-called 'government city' is turning into a brighter and more exciting place to be. Speaking of colourful walls, I'm sure you've been creeping on Instagram and have seen an adorable wall with someone standing in front of it, only to see that they didn't tag where they are. Rude.
Ottawa is really stepping up with the new bars. First there was Charlotte, then there was Room 104, and now there is Foreign Cinéma. Foreign Cinéma opened up at the beginning of December, and everyone was so stoked to see that they provided us with the perfect selfie wall. Yes, there, I said it.
Not only is Foreign Cinéma killing it with the decor, as they have a wall full of muted palm trees, they're also killing it with how original they are. They're only open for dinner, and after dinner, it turns into a bar that is everything and more. Even cooler? Soon enough, they'll start to really tap into their name and will start showing old, classic movies and will provide you with wireless headphones.
From the bar to the decor, Foreign Cinéma is doing everything right. They have a small menu for dinner, but all of their options are creative and delicious. You can choose from poké, ribs, a cheeseburger, and more. Their menu is eclectic, which definitely pairs well with the design of the bar.
If you're looking for a new Instagram picture, we got you. No matter who you are, you'll love this vibrant, adorable and super girly wall. Foreign Cinéma is located at 121 Clarence St, and the hours are from 5 pm to 2 am every day of the week except Sunday.
