This restaurant is steps from Mackenzie King and is located within the Ottawa Art Gallery. Going for dinner at a lovely restaurant is a great way to catch up with friends or go on a cute date with your love, no matter what you go for this pretty restaurant will definitely be perfect for any special occasion!

This new spot is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture at this restaurant is amazing, you will seriously be in awe of its beauty. Not to mention the great colour scheme and modern vibe. The windows at this cafe are also super big making for a perfect naturally lit space. The cocktails at this restaurant will have you sipping away your entire night!

Jackson serves up a variety of foods and drinks. The menu is primarily plant based, non GMO, sustainable, artisanal and organic whenever possible. It is locally and globally from small and family farms passionately committed to offering the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. 

The chef at Jackson, Chef Leung, has worked with food for more than 20 years. He has cooked at premier dining establishments around the world, including Restaurant el8hteen, National Gallery of Canada, Daniel restaurant in New York City, and at Nobu in London, England. He has made food for President Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Julia Child, and for the Governor General’s Awards!

Leung takes inspiration from around the globe and leads an extraordinary team that combines locally sourced ingredients and sustainable seafood to produce tantalizing dishes. When you go to Jackson you already know you are in for an unbelievable range of foods from Chef Leung. 

Jackson has clear environmental policies and strongly believe in nurturing planetary eco systems. They buy from local farmers whenever possible and use quality meat suppliers with ethical practices. They also buy sustainable Oceanwise seafood and recycle glass and bottles through Bottle Works. Plus they buy and use only biodegradable takeout containers.

Not only does Jackson look stunning, but they also have an outdoor garden! Once the hot summer weather rolls in, Jackson will have a stunning outdoor garden perfect for a meal in the sun. If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a tasty cocktail or a fine wine, then you have 100% found the perfect spot. 

Make your way to Jackson next month to enjoy a fine dining experience! The restaurant is located at the Ottawa Art Gallery (50 Mackenzie King Bridge) which is completely free to enter making eating at this restaurant perfect after a full day of exploring at the museum.
