Ottawa’s Prettiest Restaurants You Need To Try At Least Once
We've all said it before "Ugh, I need a new Instagram picture." You can say you haven't, but you're lying. There are so manyin Ottawa but how many can you get a meal and a picture out of?!
These pretty restaurants also make for such great birthday or romantic spots. No matter what the occasion, it's always great to eat in a restaurant that looks better than you do (jk, but not really). A lot goes into the decor and the food in a restaurant, and it needs to be celebrated! So here are Ottawa's prettiest restaurants you need to try at least once.
Where: 134 Bank St // Centretown
Why you should go: Besides the decor, the food is actually unreal. It's the only place in Ottawa that is dedicated to poké, which also makes it super unique. The walls will make you feel like you're in Hawaii and what more could you ask for?! They also have acai bowls if you're not feeling poké.
Sutherland Restaurant, Bar and Coffee House
Where: 224 Beechwood Avenue // Beechwood
Type: Restaurant, Bar, Cafe
Why you should go: Okay, Sutherland Restaurant, Bar and Coffee House will look so cute on your Instagram. However, they're a triple threat! No matter what you're in the mood for, whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, a drink or a coffee (wow) they have it all!
Where: 152 Sparks St // Centretown
Why you should go: Okay, let's just preface this by saying delis are not supposed to be cute. You're supposed to walk in, grab a sandwich, and leave. However, Nate's Deli is a whole different story. This deli makes you want to eat every meal here, and try everything on the menu. They offer breakfast daily but you need to try their sandwiches. To die for.
Les Fougères Restaurant
Where: 783 Quebec Route 105 // Chelsea
Why you should go: Not only is the taste of this restaurant impeccable, but so is the decor. If you're looking for somewhere to eat for your birthday, a romantic dinner, or just a fancy dinner, choose Les Fougères Restaurant. I promise you won't regret it!
Where: 859 Bank St // Centretown
Why you should go: Hate salads? You clearly haven't tried Mad Radish. They have the most unreal salads that can be vegan or vegetarian, as well as warm bowls that are unlike anything you've tried before.
The Savoy Brasserie
Where: 334 Richmond Rd // Westboro
Why you should go: Because brunch, obviously. The Savoy Brasserie is open for brunch, lunch and dinner and all of their meals are super different. Also, look at their floors. The prettiest floors you've ever seen.
Where: 380 Elgin St // Centretown
Why you should go: First of all, they have a wall of roses for decor. Besides how stunning their decor is, their food is to die for as well. They have a super minimal menu, but all of their food is unique and will always make you want to go back for more. They also have a hot pink drink that's called The Unicorn, so yes please.
Feast + Revel
Where: 325 Dalhousie St // ByWard Market
Why you should go: This beautiful restaurant is unlike any other in Ottawa. It's located in Andaz Ottawa ByWard Market and is open for breakfast and dinner. The menu is super eclectic, however very classy as well. They also have marble tables, so what more could you ask for?
The Vanitea Room
Where: 551 Somerset St W // Centretown
Type: Tea cafe
Why you should go: Unlimited mimosas, that's why! The Vanitea Room sells high tea, as well as breakfast and snacks. However, I would definitely go for the unlimited mimosas and the amazing decor. This adorable cafe will blow your mind no matter what you order!
Where: 345 Preston St // Little Italy
Why you should go: If you like fine dining, you'll love Salt. Their restaurant will make you feel like you're nowhere near Ottawa, and their food will take you to another planet. Their menu isn't very large, but whatever is on it is absolutely delicious.
Where: 537 Sussex Dr // ByWard Market
Why you should go: Social is a pretty well known restaurant in Ottawa, but have you actually ever been? The decor inside is so beautiful, and so is the food. They're open for brunch, lunch and dinner and also have a short but sweet menu.
