Mamie Clafoutis has just opened up and we are so ready to indulge in their treats. Everything at the cafe is homemade with love and care. This cafe first opened up in Montreal in 2008. Since then they have opened up over 8 different locations and Ottawa is officially the 9th cafe. The co-managers of Mamie Clafoutis in Ottawa, Sophie Gourves and her husband Gregory Cossec, are both from France and are ready to serve some delicious pastries to Ottawa.
The new cafe has an uplifting atmosphere that's family friendly and welcoming. You can walk in to grab a fresh baguette or you can sit down to enjoy some coffee with a pastry. The menu at Mami Clafoutus is ever-changing with fresh new treats baked daily. The inside of the cafe includes comfy couches, tables, and a children's play area.
The cafe serves up a variety of traditional French baked goods. There are many artisanal breads available, from baguettes to rustic wholegrain loaves to pretzels, you will be spoilt for choice on which bread to get. The many pastries available are served in both sweet and savoury options. Buttery croissants, sandwiches, quiches, soups, and salads are all available and perfect for a cute lunch date. The cafe offered up vegetarian-friendly options as well, so you're covered.
Some of the tasty desserts include chocolate mousse, pies, tarts, clafoutis, cheesecakes, roulé, cannelés, and so much more. All of the treats at the cafe are made in-house and items on the menu change depending on the seasons. The drinks sold at the cafe include tea, coffee, juice, and iced tea.

From Monday to Friday the cafe is open at 6:30 am to 7 pm. On weekends the cafe opens up at 7:30 am and closes at 6 pm.
