Some people celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a beer in their hand for 24 hours, and others don't celebrate at all. If you're someone that's in between, I have the perfect celebration for you. It involves bagels and alcohol... well kind of.

If you're from Ottawa or have lived in Ottawa or have even been to Ottawa for 1 day, you probably know about our famous bagels. Kettleman's Bagel Co. is the shit here in Ottawa, and nothing really compares. They opened up their first store in 1993, and have expanded so much since then. Now, when you think of bagels in Ottawa, Kettleman's Bagel Co. is what your mind goes to.

Kettleman's Bagel Co. has a ton of options for bagels. From plain, to sesame seed, to chocolate chip, to all dressed. Seriously, they have it all. And they go all out for special occasions too! They had a pink heart shaped bagel for Valentine's Day, a red and green bagel for Christmas, and now they have bright green bagels to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Since St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow, and it's going to be cold AF outside, you definitely may consider just staying in and having a lazy day. Or if you're going out to party all day, you do know that carbs are the best thing to load up on before drinking, right? So this bagel is absolutely perfect. Oh, and you can start drinking prettty early on, since the cream cheese is made with Bailey's!

If you don't want the Bailey's cream cheese, that's okay! Since the bagels are plain even though they don't look like it, you can get any spread you'd like on it! Maybe a dill pickle cream cheese since the taste would match the colour.

If you've never tried Kettleman's Bagel Co., this is a great place to start. They have three locations in Ottawa and all of them are open 24/7. Seriously, this place can't get any better. For more information on locations and menu, visit their website here. These famous green bagels are only around until tomorrow, so get them while you can!
