The Glebe's got tons of talented chefs and awesome restaurants, so what better way to experience them all!?

Visit Ottawa's Farmers' Market

@nellleoembedded via

Ottawa's Farmers' Market is the only year-round, producer-only farmers’ market in the city. Every vendor at the market grows, makes, and bakes everything that they offer from within 100-kilometres of Ottawa. You can get pretty much everything and anything here: Local cheeses, meats, grains, fruits and veggies, baked goods, sweets, and even some artisan crafts and jewelry.

Drink Wine (Lots Of It) At 107 Fourth Avenue Wine Bar & Café

@chelsmconnembedded via

Ottawa has incredible nightlife, but it's this small wine bar in The Glebe you'll want to stop at first if you're partial to a glass or two (or three or four). 107 Fourth Avenue Wine Bar & Café is open seven days a week from 11:30am until late (full food menu all day and until at least midnight). Their covered front patio and rear deck will make this place your new favourite summer hangout spot.

The Pomeroy House is the perfect place to go to truly discover the unique flavour of The Glebe. Not only was this restaurant one of many in the neighbourhood to be named Best New Restaurant in Ottawa in 2016, but The Pomeroy House has the receipts to back up the claim! You can expect delectable brunches, classic/homestyle dishes, delicious cocktails and much more at this eatery!

Rent A Bike And Ride Down Rideau Canal's Bike Paths

@intheglebeembedded via

Truly enjoy the aesthetic of this historic part of Ottawa with a nice, slow bike ride down the Rideau Canal bike paths. Enjoy the waterway and greenery of the neighbourhood while rolling on one of Glebe's bikes for rent. VeloGO is the official Bike Share program for the Ottawa-Gatineau area and it's a great (and healthy) way to get around the capital region. You can lock your bike on any public bike rack once you're done with it. Grab a bike at 425 Marché Way, in Lansdowne Park to start your trek.

Relax In Lansdowne Park

@stephsandilandembedded via

After some serious renovating in 2014, Lansdowne has become a hotbed for businesses, restaurants and a whole galaxy of attractions and major events. The community here is vibrant and lively, and is easily accessible using public transit lines 6 and 7. Its numerous amenities make it a unique space, where visitors can experience sports, culture, leisure and culinary experiences all in one area. In the summer, the skate park and water plaza are in full use, and if you want to just take your time, the Great Lawn that surrounds Lansdowne is great for frisbee sports, walking, relaxing or doing yoga.
